Venetian Beauty

This piece reminds me of a Venetian vase made out of stoneware. I wasn't necessarily going for this look, but the end result claimed its title, for it is an Italian beauty. The largest stone is a teardrop cut of chrysoprase. It's color pattern, found in its natural state really adds texture and an old stoneware feel to this piece. It's framed by sterling silver wire that I shaped and hammered. Protruding at the top of the pendant is a princess cut of beer quartz. Centered between these two gems is a vibrant, faceted bead of genuine Columbian emerald.
