I've neglected this site big time! Bought a house that requires a lot of attention. I doubled up on shows this year. Had to work twice as hard but turns out I did a little better than expected. Good savings with a lower credit card debt. Created some new pieces and wanted to post them here but they sold too fast. How is that ever a problem? Need a break from jewelry. Time to work with a new medium for the winter. Can't wait for the Christmas shopping to end so I can relax, have a drink and enjoy a day off. Of course it will be the first day off of many because retail dies after the holidays. Valentines day never seems to pick up the slack for

I'm still having trouble navigating and updating this site. I should spend more time here. Very busy these days. But as any artist would know that doesn't equate to more money. Just working twice as hard for half the pay. At least I get to do what I love. Most people don't even have that. But does that mean we should sell ourselves short? I see too many artists giving themselves away. Their work too. We have to value ourselves and our time. We don't have to be starving to be artists.

There is so much to do and so little time to do it.
